ClusterIQ uses necessary browser storage for core functions. Optional analytics storage remains disabled unless you choose to allow it.

1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how ClusterIQ uses cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies on the website and application. Some technologies are essential to provide the service; others are optional and require a choice from you.
2. Necessary storage
Necessary storage may be used for authentication, security, session handling, theme or interface preferences and to remember your cookie-consent choice. These functions are required to provide or secure the service and cannot be switched off through the consent banner.
ClusterIQ stores your consent choice in local storage under clusteriq.cookie-consent.v1. This prevents the consent banner from being shown on every visit and records whether optional analytics has been accepted or rejected.
3. Analytics
Optional analytics is off by default. The Google Tag Manager container is only loaded after you allow analytics in your cookie preferences. It provides the delivery layer for approved analytics tags, including Google Analytics 4 where configured. We use analytics to understand aggregate website and product usage and measure conversion or feature adoption. We do not send uploaded keywords, project names, workspace names, contact-message content or other private SEO datasets to analytics.
4. Changing your choice
You can revisit your preferences at any time. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using ClusterIQ’s core functionality.
5. Third-party services
Core platform providers may set or use technically necessary identifiers as part of authentication, security, hosting or service delivery. The contact form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile as a necessary anti-abuse control. Google Tag Manager and any analytics tags delivered through it remain optional and are not loaded until analytics consent has been given. We do not use the consent mechanism to disguise advertising or analytics storage as necessary.
6. Updates
We will update this policy if we add or materially change analytics, advertising or other optional browser technologies. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision.
